Once you let the domain expire is not yours anymore. Anyone who register it, becomes the new owner. If you want that domain back, pay for it, otherwise let it go.
As much as i would like to be on your side, this time I cannot do it. We all lost at least a gem during our adult game. Does this makes the new owner a thief? Definitely NO. We should learn our lesson and be more cautious in the future.
BTW: if you have a trademark on that name, that's a completely different story.

Look, Butler didn't just stumble upon Mark's domain and buy it. He visited one of his sites and purposefully knew the domain was expiring. He waited carefully to the right moment, probably right before the auction ended, and place a bid and won it. Then he contacted him and tried to sell it.
