I want to start doing some SEO for a niche site and want to get more feedback on whether this is something that is even worth my time or money. I am going to supplement it with guest post, infographics, etc.

The best backlinks are those who help you to rank, the best thing to do is:
- Make a list of the top 5 sites that are ranking for the term you are interested to be in the first page.
- Go to Link Opportunities Tool for SEO Professionals - LinksSpy.com and see where they are getting their backlinks from, id they are resources list you can ask for the backlink and most of the times they will give you one, since you are in the same market
- If they are from a PBN you can analize the characteristics of the sites to build one.
- If they are buying those backlinks, you know where they are getting gthem from, how much it cost and which one works the best.
