When you go through the light at the end of the tunnel, you find yourself in a hospital, naked, being smacked on the bottom by a doctor... You realise you cant do anything for yourself, nor talk or even eat solid food. All you are given is milk by some strange lady who takes you home and takes care of you.
Because you are in such an out of control situation, all you do is cry and cry but gradually you forget about your old life, and forget about the things you have forgotten how to to.
So the lady re-teaches you how to walk, how to eat and then after a few years, sends you to school, so you can learn how to read and catch up on all the other stuff you have forgotten...
Thats what the white light is - Your re-birth...
