It doesn't even really matter at this point. The conservative Republican base must be furious - the leader of the Republican party, our President, cheated on his wife with a porn star. This will be front page news for the next six months. And it's only one of the women trying to take him to court.

Who do you believe? The man who cheats on his wife and has a dozen women accusing him of more bad conduct?

So how can you say it was a illegal campaign contribution until there has been a ruling. FEC has to make ruling by mid July on this issue.

When this originally broke I didn't think this was an illegal contribution myself. However, any cash payment to support a candidate's cause is obviously a political contribution.
The max fine would be twice the contribution? I am pretty sure Cohen makes pretty good money, but I doubt he will be able to pay off a $260k fine after spending $130k of his own money. I am guessing there is a fair chance he will no longer be allowed to practice law also.
Why aren't we having an investigation into all of this? We have illegal campaign contributions, intimidating and threatening someone.... The Republican party loves having investigations - We had a dozen into Hillary Clinton and yet still more continuing to this very day. I demand we have an investigation into this.
