You can control your heart rate (even I can do that on a rather short interval like 10+ or 10-), but I have serious doubts that you can do it so effective to get the "tunnel effect". Maybe a few people on the planet can do it but it's a real rare ability...
And here is another secret for knowing of that you will be burned like a warlock. People can see the ghosts. Course if they are not drunk or high (schizophrenics don't count) but only in houses made of granite. Guess why?
