But according to video that he took in the school earlier, Hogg claimed to have heard gun shots around 2:30 PM, and later heard a gun shot at 2:52, when according to the official timeline the gun shots stopped at 2:28 PM.
Hogg also identified the shooter as Nikolas Cruz at 3:13 PM, according to the video he took. This raises another un-answered question: Cruz was not apprehended until 3:41, and according to Hogg, the students he was with had been in lockdown for at least the previous hour. Media reports did not confirm his name until hours later. How could they have known it was Cruz?"
