I have GFY and other industry pages open while I work, along with imdb and a couple of science sites. It's a good way to take a break.

I disagree.
If he wants to dream up new domains that are really "stand-alone" type names, and then sell them to people later who really want that domain, fantastic - good job.
But if you prey on domain names that are based on existing products, ideas or creations and then try to sell them to their owners, or try to compete against them when they can't sell the domain, then you're a scumbag.
