I left school and there were jobs available for everyone, there was no youth unemployment. Today it's growing and a terrible statistic.
There was little unemployment overall. Working class could buy a house, afford foreign holidays and eat well.
Today we have high unemployment, low and stagnant wages, soaring homelessness, homes are often unaffordable, foreign holidays only for those who can afford it and food banks.
