If Trump loses the House he *will* be impeached. He will not be removed, as I personally see it, but he will be gelded (for the dummies, that means his nuts will be removed).

This is far worse for him than Mueller. It means the House believes a wave is coming. I never count Trump out, but it is hard to see how he keeps the republicans in line after this.
