Yes. There was a concentrated effort by the Russian government to release embarrassing information from the DNC. One of the things they did was hack the DNC and hand over all of the emails to Wikileaks.
This was ONE of the things the Russian government did.

Yes, this was embarrassing for Trump.
However there is a staggering difference between a candidate doing something stupid on tape and a foreign government hacking servers at political parties. One is a stupidity, the other is a crime.

Ah yes, the standard Republican line - "Hillary is evil".
I think the majority of the "big media houses" (aka the "main stream media") wanted a sane politician with decades of experience who was investigated dozens of time without any wrong doing or charges instead of a clown with zero experience.
