USA can't do fuck all with NK as there's very little "known" targets, and its a country surrounded by other countries namely China and Russia and NO way either would sit back and allow an annihilation type bombing scenario.. which limits the USA to conventional weapons. If America took that action NK would certainly respond, Biological, Chemical or Nuclear.. take your pick, they have many options and all could kill millions. If USA tried to retaliate Russia and China would be there to say.. no.

So USA did the only thing it could.. send Trump on a Twitter storm, where he basically relied on Kim's good judgement not to launch an attack at the USA or partnered countries.

NK has shown more aggression and increased its capabilities tenfold under.. TRUMP

So the whole military thing is a con, by Don the con. Sanctions are what's biting but even then as we know from Russia, they can be worked around. Kim needs some sanctions pulled back, but he's not going to denuclearize to do that, sign a peace treaty, agree not to do more tests of what's tested, and shut down a test facility, that the USA reported was collapsing anyways.

That's what's on the table
I know for a "fact" from public sources, from my own military expertise but primarily from insider sources that the US was going to attack NK this spring. Kim apparently became aware that was the fact so he now has backed off and may realize that his game is up and is sincerely ready to appease the US or his playing for time for whatever his reasons are. I am still not 100% satisfied that we will not launch the planned attack but probably will not do so at least this spring as was the original plan.
