Kim has the ability to cause massive loss of Korean life with conventional weapons with out the use of Nukes. The use of a nuke/nukes on his part would just ensure that NK would not be allowed to exist as a separate country and that he would not be allowed to live.

The US does not have to use nukes to totally defeat Kim with a relatively small loss of US lives but a conflict would cause the massive loss of Korean lives with or without the use of nukes by either side. I seriously doubt that we would even respond with the use of a nuke/nukes even if he somehow managed to deploy a nuke to South Korea or Japan. There is no need for us to do that. Kim is a pimple on the ass of America's military power.
