There is always some form of advertising involved if you don't work with agencies. I assume, in the era of offline porn, you used newspaper ads, flyers or agents. How would you otherwise recruit the girls? This is in no way different than online ads.
When I said you wouldn't even need to meet the person I meant that it is irrelevant if any porn was shot with that person or not. They could lock you up just for those ads (or any other recruiting techniques) if they were unlawful.
