Right now our President is trying to get a new VA director nominated. Do you know what effect that has on me personally? None. None what so ever. The President of France here is, there is a lot of talk about Syria and Iran... Do know what effect any decision they make will have on me? None. Zero. Zilch. We can go to war with Iran in the morning, and other than the price of my gas going up (which is already happening right now here in California no matter what) it would have little effect on my life.

But the crappy road outside of my house that is tearing up my tires.... That has a huge impact on my life.

The fact that my local city government violated state law by raising the cost of my water bill and then blew the money and cannot return it... Well, that has an impact on my life.

The changes they are making to the freeway outside of our hometown.... HUGE impact on my life.
