Yes. Only Arabs and Jews follow ancient religious writings. Christians follow 20th century writings (sarcasm here).
They fight over a desert. Seems childish to you, perhaps, but your land wasn't taken. My next-door neighbors were devout Muslims from Iraq. My parents had concern when they moved in but they accepted us and we accepted them. Religion wasn't talked about much though over s cookout they said they were brought up to love, not to hate. We were each entitled to worship as we wished, they said.
My former doctor is Muslim; and gay. He and I had some great talks about everything from religion to sex to the Beatles. I told him I don't judge on religion and don't try to convert anyone.
Anyway, ancient writings are just that -- ancient. Times have changed and it's time for a new Bible to be written. Or add chapters to coincide with current ideological thoughts.
Don't assume all Arabs hate Jews and vice versa. I certainly don't judge on religion, location or nationality. Assholes come in all forms.
