Kanye has been supporting Trump since shortly after the election. He openly endorsed him at a concert in Nov. 2016 (and then said he was going to beat him in 2020).
Just because Kanye likes him doesn't mean he is going to influence a lot of black people to vote for him.
I do enjoy how both Trump and Kanye refer to themselves as geniuses. At least in Kanye's case he is correct.
