At first, we should assume that they just don't know what the actual people that are involved in these negotiations are saying. It's impossible for any of us to be familiar with absolutely everything that is said in these matters. Bladewire can be forgiven for this opinion that President Trump has nothing to do with it if he doesn't know that the South Koreans themselves are giving the credit to President Trump. Maybe he hasn't been exposed to these comments by their officials, so he isn't being dishonest - yet. And after he (and apparently Rochard) is exposed to the
fact that the South Korean Foreign Minister credits this to President Trump - what then? This leaves them few options to continue with the realities they have constructed in their minds. The South Korean Foreign Minister is lying. The South Korean Foreign Minister is wrong. Etc.
So, the end result of their argument is we are asked to believe the opinions of Bladewire and Rochard - but not the South Korean Foreign Minister that credits this to President Trump.
Who is more likely to be correct on this issue? Who would have more first-hand knowledge?
