And what does it mean? Please explain. Russian soldiers receive a zero salary - the guys don't get a money at all, but

As I said above, in the USA you call them veterans. In Russia we call them... nobody... They are just males maybe, because everybody has to do it. The army in Russia is a duty but not a job. Every man have to do it. If you denied, you'll get a prison time.
