A classmate of my wife was an gun-machine operator in Chechnya. He said he has killed about 20 - maybe more, maybe less, because it's hard to say if someone who fell after a machine-gun fire is dead, injured, or not. So every man here who has no money to pay it to "кадрвовый офицер" like the father of one Czech immigrant poster here, have to serve in the army and you are really the lucky one if you (like me) have never participated in a real war.
