yes, we were savagely attacked and used atomic bombs to end global war after years of aggression, while your country didn't even have a clue about nukes.
Very few of us are proud about having to do that. We are proud we stopped the aggression though it took what it took.
And yes, you are free to live in past rooskie rocket engine accomplishments while denying that there is any rooskie future in space travel. I don't see one single rooskie billionaire sending rockets into space with plans to go to mars and elsewhere.
