Agencies take up to 50%. Some take more. That's the one part of the scene I hate dealing with. The pimps. Either agents or boyfriends, the himo, are just the worst. The guys at the agency are not so bad but the managers, the ones who rose up from street hustlers, I could really do without.
She left out the gift baskets though. Thats the one perk Japanese girls get over any other porn girls I know of. When AV stars show up on set most of the times they get some sort of gift basket. At least from the big money studios. I always thought thats a nice touch.
Emiri was smart in the sense she saw the writing on the wall. Declining sales numbers and pay dropping to way too low numbers for the sacrifices they are asked to make.
I hope she can make a go of the cosmetics company and get out of the hostess club circuit. That's another pt altogether.
