yes really poor and surpressed people in example in lybia:
Quote:
After coming to power, the RCC government initiated a process of directing funds toward providing education, health care and housing for all. Public education in the country became free and primary education compulsory for both sexes. Medical care became available to the public at no cost, but providing housing for all was a task the RCC government was not able to complete. Under Gaddafi, per capita income in the country rose to more than US $11,000, the fifth highest in Africa. The increase in prosperity was accompanied by a controversial foreign policy, and there was increased political repression at home.

sure somebody had to "rescue" them from all that abuses.
show me one "arab spring country" what is not a shithole now and a breeding factory for terror. and why did an "arab spring" never happen in countries without oil?
the conflict in syria is nothing else.
all world know that the so called revolutionists are mainly formed by isis and al kaida.
the real problem in syria is a fucking oil and gas pipeline what opens the oil/gas market directly to europe. this is why putin is also involved there because he wants to use this pipeline too.
who have the power in syria have the power over the complete european oil market.
assad rejected the construction of the pipeline from qatar through syria across the mediterranean sea to Europe in 2009 and 2011 the civil war started.
count 1+1 and you have the answer.
