I'd still bet on Tesla. While it's true they are just about always late, they still always manage to deliver.
Tesla is good at taking the orders, not so good at filling the orders.


I would hope the analyst is right and Musk is focusing on removing automated production entirely and
replacing it with more human production to get model 3s out the door and not on semi dev. He can fiddle with automation later, but bad idea to commit to 100s of thousands of model 3s with unproven automation and a history of failed automation in this industry.
