You may well be right...I am sure that violence and war are a big part of American culture, it is no surprise that you have fine nuances to describe violence that are lost on me...one country attacking or invading is all the same to normal people but Klingons may well have 100 words to describe their national sport...even if you have to attack a country in order to invade, there must be 100s of Klingon reasons why these 2 words are vastly different in meaning in your "culture"...
