And yeah the complacently in NZ when there's a quake is insanity to an outsider. ChCh had more 11,000 after shocks for two years after that big one, 60 of those in the 6-7 range. You might dive under the table for the first 20 but certainly when you past 50.. you just stop, wait, and then carry on as normal, biggest comment you will hear is "Ooll that was a big one ".
