Lightning and Rain does not affect your wifi signal in anyway, except for a power failure.

While lightning produces a broad range of RF interference, it is only for a split second. Wifi uses 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies and on top of that, digital spread spectrum, to get its singles back and fourth.

If the RF from lighting were to interrupt the signal, the packet would be instantly retransmitted and would not even notice it.

If your Internet is slow and Netflix isn't working etc, it's not the storm - something else is going on.
