By far the best organised tour.
I think first trip your best with Phuket, its geared up for tourists, my advise is stay away from Patong, quality of my Phuket trips are based on how little I have to go there. Kata is a nice area, lotta Russians though. |
I was hoping for some new islands
I stay(ed) in Thailand more than 2 years the last 7 years and have seen a lot of places. Except Phuket. I was looking there for a nice quiet area. Must still decide if i want to go there cause a lot of people warn for all the russians there, whilke some talk possitive about the beaches that are more quiet there. Not looking for the Pattaya feeling, therefor i go to Pattaya.
I stay long time, so i travel slooow. Now i was thinking, fly to Krabi, minibus to Ko Lanta stay 1 month, Boat to Phuket from Koh Lanta with a stop over on Phi Phi Island so i could see Phuket also. And than another month Pattaya. But there most be more nice islands without so many tourist.
AO Nang beach in Krabi i don't like. Have been there several times on my way to other spots. Railay beach was nice, been there 2 months ago. Is a bit like Holland with the reggae 'coffeeshops'...
