ahhh thatīs what you mean.
ok this is true and usual but I do not see that as a real ripoff. All this attractions would not be there or not be public if they were financed by Thais.
and - same as on this website - they donīt make a secret out of it.
I really do not have a problem with that because I came in this country because I love it but I also know it will never be "my country". I will always be a foreigner there with the right and the ability to leave it whenever i want.
i used to be always dissatisfied in my life and wanted more and more. thailand showed me that you can recognize your own happiness better when you not only look upwards but also once downwards and backwards. only then did i really realize that i am doing much better than 99.9% of the whole humanity.
learning this way of looking at things has helped me personally to be happier.
