I didn't state that. I stated that's it's not accurate to claim ups does 99% of the work for USPs.
I go with the reported research which shows sure post accounts for less than 9% of Amazon shipping. You can't really think that 99% of the work is done by carriers who charge 2x as much, when USPS has package logistics, it's otr amazon trucks to USPs, sure post adds days to shipping times, and there is rarely usually never packages with multi carrier shipping labels.
