the 40% saves costs for USPS.
if there are 6 packages to deliver to one street it costs nearly the same time and gasoline as when they deliver 10 packages.

after bezos have fulfilled trump´s "wish" and does not "rob" the USPS system anymore every american will pay more or wait longer for deliveries.
