If you collect enough of them you can sell them as old paper and make a profit.
The 500 coins realy a feather light.
But in long term, you wouldn't have lost with those ineterst rate, but made good money.
I am looking at the Brazilian Reals, looks like that will go to the lowest point in 10 - 15 years. And if you go to Brazil the rent of a house will still be the same as 4 years ago in BRL, while it dropped 50% in relation to the Euro. It gets realy interesting to buy something there. There are elctions, there will be days that it can drop maybe 10 - 20% for a few days cause there will be protests.
