Here are a few suggestions that may go someway to help reduce the number of incidents in schools.

Tougher background checks including mental health assessment.

Rule out anyone with a drug, assault or domestic violence convictions from owning a gun ever !!

Limit the availability of assault rifles to people over the age of 21 or those currently serving in the armed forces.

Hold parents accountable for not securing weapons in the home. ( ie keep all guns in a safe or locked cabinet )


Im not saying this is by any means a cure for school shootings but at least it's a start?
