Both Russians and Americans grabbed German technology after 1945 - without von Braun and his rocket program it would have taken significantly longer. For both sides.
And while history seems to agree that von Braun wasn't a hardcore Nazi like Himmler or Goebbels, he definitely didn't care if people were dying for him. And he definitely knew about KZ slaves being killed.
And neither the US nor Russia gave a shit about that but crawled up his and his people's ass to get their knowledge.
