Their lawsuit is why we found out about the Cohen payments. Granted it's likely Muller already knew of them, but it made it to the public view due to Stormy's lawyer forcing Cohen to give them his financial records. When that happened they got access to proof that trump paid Cohen and of course could prove Stormy was paid, but also in those records were all these other payments going to Cohen since Trump became POTUS..
Basically Stormy's lawyer blew the whole Cohen payments for access to Trump out in the open.. Again I'm sure Muller knew this shit already, but he never leaks anything and who knows if we would have ever found out if Republicans were able to try and bury it. Now it's all out in the open and they can't hide the corruption.
You can damn sure bet that Trump being the greedy fuck he is, he sure as hell wasn't just letting Cohen take money for access to Trump, with out Trump getting his cut.. This issue alone is direct bribery and will take Trump down..
Collusion, money laundering, constant lies and disrespect of the office and the people's trust.. there is pretty much at least a dozen reasons Trump can legitimately be impeached and any other POTUS already would have been if not for useless Republicans in Congress. The only reason he's still here is because his Republican enablers (aka traitors to this country) refuse to do anything. That will all change come the mid terms..
Even if Democrats don't win back both the House & Senate they will take enough seats that Republicans will be forced kicking and screaming into impeachment proceedings.
