They used old fashion latex rubber materials to mold the face, which has a slightly harder skin that forms in the molds, hence the wrinkles under the neck looking like an 80 years old person. SFX use soft transparent silicons now which is a much better and lifelike material.

I am impressed with the facial movements but using servos instead of linear actuators is old school and don't get me started on the eyes, very weird!

Hot, in a Freddy Krueger sort of way !!!
