My father was
officially a communist, but he has hated the communist system all the time and he was telling about it openly. So why he was a member of the communist party? Because it was the only way to get a high position @ his facility (senior engineer) and... to get free apartments for his wife and kids. Thus he didn't consider himself as a communist, but officially he was.
