And some may very well turn on you anyway, AFTER they get what they want from you. Its a way of sending the message: "I'm not in debt to you for what you've done. Doing kind things for people is respectable. But to most people, its viewed as weakness to be taken advantage of. Its a lose-lose situation for you. So instead, I'd suggest you devote of your time and energy into bettering yourself, not others.
