Rich men like to attend beauty pageants for a reason, and the female contestants know this. "Miss" is the first word in most pageant names for a reason. Winning the crown is beside the point. Its just a front for joining the competition.
If I were a business man who relied on making deals, I'd own a beauty pageant first. And I'd reward whoever would accept my business deals with a backstage pass to my beauty pageant.
The swimsuit competition is also beside the point.
