by Golden Earring, not the remakes. Heard it tonight and realized the lead singer sucks, guitarists sound stoned and yet it works. Grew up to it but never really analyzed it. I’d like to hear true metal bands try it; something with Ritchie Blackmore, Ted Nugent, David Coverdale, Angus Young (;(), Jimmy Page, Dokken, Ratt, and for fun, sung by Roger Daltrey who has the best rock and roll screams on key.
