I voted for Hillary ONLY because I had a choice between her and Trump.

Now I look back at the election and I'm stunned. I don't think Hillary was ideal or the perfect candidate, but she was clearly qualified and completely vetted. Trump isn't qualified or vetted; We are constantly learning horrible things about him.

The division in our country is staggering. I blame this directly on the Republican party. Under Obama, the Republican party made Obama (and Hillary) out to be evil and the enemy. It didn't matter what the truth was under Obama; No matter what it was bad. The economy is the perfect example. Obama walked into office with a sinking economy - The worst most of us have ever seen. Republicans blamed it on Obama, claimed it was his fault, and bitched the entire time he was in office - as the economy got better and better and we had over seventy months of dropping unemployment. Two months after Trump took office suddenly the Republicans were singing a different tune - the economy was great, and Trump was our hero. What? What bullshit.

I might never forgive the Republican party for what is happening, and most likely will never vote Republican again.
I wish more people thought like you around here...
