Thank you for confirming for the rest of the crowd that, at this time, there is no Trump tie to this indictment and you are hoping there will be in the future.

And there might be - who knows. But there isn't now.

I have always maintained the same thought process on this. Big investigations work like a whirlpool. They start slowly at the edges, bringing in fringe people with small stories to tell and they slowly work their way to the middle where the bigger players have more to offer until we finally get to the eye of the whirlpool where the final targets are moved against.

Mueller is building his whirlpool. Slowly but surely he is moving closer and closer to Trump. He doesn't leak. The only things we know from his investigation is what they have decided to release or were forced to release because they were public things like indictments etc. Beyond that, we have no idea what he has or doesn't has.

Mueller isn't dumb. He sees that Trump is trying to prosecute this case in the media so the last thing he wants to do is let Trump know what he has (or doesn't have) so Trump can attack those positions publicly. I believe that he thinks Manafort has a big story to tell so he is ladling on the charges against him in hopes that Manafort will then take an offer from him and flip. He's not including any Trump info right now because he wants Manafort to speak to that stuff later so there is not much use in giving Manafort and his lawyers time to look into that information and develop a defense against it.

Personally, I don't want Trump to be impeached and removed from office. The main reason is Mike Pence. He makes me nervous. I would rather see Trump put in a situation where he was weakened to the point where he either chooses not to run in 2020 or he runs and gets beat either in a Republican primary or the general election.
