Do I think Trump was sitting there counting the money for his own charity? No, he wasn't, and that is a huge part of the problem. As a non profit foundation they are required by law to have regular meetings to ensure local, state, and federal laws are being followed. The board of directors consisted of Donald Trump and his three adult children and they have failed to have a single meeting in over a decade. Instead, Trump did whatever they wanted. ALL of it was illegal. ALL of it.

It the job of the board of directors - Trump and his three kids - to have regular meetings to ensure that all of the money collected was legally sent out. Instead, they failed to track anything, and broke every law they could. They are the ONLY ONES responsible for this.

Millions of dollars came in, and millions of dollars went out. If this was anyone else they would be going to jail.
