China only does 23% of their trade with the USA, so good luck with those sanctions.
The problem is not now, but access to the Chinese market as they grow, face it in 15 years you can manufacture at 100% and sell the lot to China and they still won't have enough, so any trade imbalances will eventually even out. China don't need a trade war at this point in time, I expect Xi to flip Trump 200 billion to appease him and his followers, he'll fuck you back later for it though, that's guaranteed.
