Great footage of true rock legends!

Saw them the first time in 1978 on the opening night of their "Some Girls" tour in Lakeland, Fla.
The ticket said "The Great Southeast Stoned Out Wrestling Champions" and had no promotion before the tickets went on sale.

Another guitar player friend of mine had already told me the Stones were there in Lakeland at the Civic Center for the last 3 days rehearsing...and then called me all excited on the day the tickets went on sale.

We drove over to the Civic Center and there was a steady stream of people buying tickets. It sold out in about an hour (10,000 seats in the civic center).

My ticket cost $10.50 and it was the most expensive concert I had ever been to at that point (I had just seen Eric Clapton a couple of weeks earlier for $4).

Awesome show that night (June 8, 1978). I remember they encored with "Street Fighting Man" and turned on all the house lights when they did it. Mick Jagger was practically levitating as his feet never seemed to touch the ground.

Saw them again in 1981 for "Tattoo You" tour at the Orange Bowl in Fla.. And again in 1989 for the "Steel Wheels" tour at Death Valley Stadium in Clemson South Carolina.

Then a couple of times in the 1990's ("Voodoo Lounge" tour in Columbia South Carolina and "Bridges To Babylon" tour in Nashville Tennessee).

Caught 'em in Atlanta for the "Bigger Bang" tour and then saw them at the MGM Grand in Vegas in 2013.

Hoping they make another run through the U.S. and get close to Vegas again.
