IMO, it isn't that democrat socialism is bad per se - it's that there is better available. I very much believe in a social safety net - from unemployment insurance to universal health care - but it's HOW this is done which makes all the difference. |
I tend to agree. I'm a big fan of Capitalism and rely on it. These are turbulent political times is all. Not as bad as 1968 but close. But the fact remains that WE are Americans, we'll sort out the current issues. It's not as bad as it seems in my view.
