That doesn't sound quite right to me.
I never had to start a gang to "defend" myself against other gangs.
And neither do the vast majority of the hundreds of millions of people living in this country.
NO...they started a gang in order to cash in on drugs and to mark out their "territory" to sell them.
And I blame the U.S. Govt. and it's insane "War On Drugs" for that 100%.
Having said that, our country definitely doesn't need to have another violent gang in our cities.
And trying to make it appear that these poor immigrants were simply "defending" themselves by creating another violent drug gang is kind of disingenuous.
