Just another sad liberal attempt to spin things. The economy is booming but anything bad must be Trump's fault. Toys-R-Us has been contracting/losing business for over a decade. They failed to adapt and acquired huge debt. They could not survive Chapter 11, and like many turned into Chapter 7 (total liquidation).
"Toy-R-Us has been crippled by debt since it was acquired by private equity firms KKR and Bain Capital, plus real estate company Vornado Realty Trust, in a $6.6 billion leveraged buyout in 2005."

In other news, their former boss (backed by big bankers) is attempting to resurrect Toys-R-Us. Their intellectual property rights will be auctioned this summer. So, it might not be the end of the story.

Also, KB Toys (bankrupt under Obama) is planning a comeback and Party City is opening a line of Toy City stores to take up the demand. Where some fail, others rise to take up the slack.
