In fact, yes. I run the "Fireworks Committee" and we've been working all year on fundraising and putting the event together. This is my fourth year doing it. We raise about $40k and rent out the park, the pool, staff it with lifeguards, hire a company to do a kids zone (inflatables, etc), live bands, and dozens of food vendors.... The fireworks are $20k, the rest goes to all of the above, and also fire, police, insurance, etc.....
