I watched the entire thing. It was thoroughly entertaining, it was a farce from both sides. GOP obv wanted to demonize him and Dem's praised him as a patriot. Nothing was gained from this whole thing except soundbites that they could bring back to their constituents. Of course CNN and MSNBC used it so people like Mark would think he is a hero and did nothing wrong.
The IG report said
“We were deeply troubled by text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations,”
This sentence was the crux of the entire 11 hour farce. He says it gave the appearance and that he bias but he didn't, that having a point of view and bias are two different things. While he is right, you certainly would have to be a very strong individual with impeccable morals and character to not let your point of view leak into becoming bias.
Though there is no proof at this point that he did act against Trump, he certainly is of questionable character, that's the main point the GOP was trying to make.
