Trump will call this meeting "historic" and he'll talk about how they are going to "accomplish great things" and then nothing will happen. At the same time, the rumors and investigation will continue.

Fuel to what fire ? Accusations, you said it, that's all they are, 'accusations'. Without one shred of facts because nobody knows what was discussed in the Putin or the 'private' N. Korea meeting.
Nobody knows what the dialog was during the N. Korea meeting either.
All we know is N. Korea ceased firing their missiles so something had to have been discussed.
That is not what Trump said at all. Trump said "It was a very good start". How else would you expect Trump or any other politician to respond?
Let the rumors and investigation continue. Stormy Daniels case against Trump is basically flushed down the toilet. The fired FBI director's testimony was a dud. The Russian meddling case you Dems felt was so bulletproof against Trump failed. Who is your next disappointment, Cohen's potential testimony?
Give it up. Enough is enough.
